TikTok star Eva Evans dies aged 29 as Julia Fox leads tributes - 'Thank you for sharing your light'

TikTok star Eva Evans, who created the Amazon Prime series Club Rat, has sadly died aged 29.

Eva’s sister, Lila confirmed the devastating news via Instagram on Sunday (April 21), 24 hours after her death. Tributes from fans, and celebrities including Julia Fox continue to pour in.

“Yesterday my family received news that our sweet, fabulous, creative, caring, hilarious Eva, my beautiful sister, has died,” the TikTok star’s sister penned in the social media post. “after 24 hours, i still find myself in a constant cycle of denial and acceptance, so i know how unbelievable and hard to process this news will be.

“I wish I had Eva here now to refer to because she would have better words and know how to say what I don’t,” she continued.

“I am keeping this brief, so we can plan for the next few days, but you’ll be hearing a lot more from me on how much Eva means to me and just how different the world will be without her,” Lila emotionally concluded.

As of yet, no official cause of death has been confirmed.

The post was flooded with tributes to the young star, along with condolences to her family. “I literally can’t believe this,” commented Julia Fox.

Fox then took to her story to share the post, writing: “RIP Eva Evans I’m going to miss you so much. Thank you for sharing so much of your light with us.”

“She was a light like no other. I’m so sorry Lila. Sending all of my love,” one comment read.

Another read: “The loss is unfathomable, to those of us lucky enough to have known her brilliance and goodness, but also to the world, which is not the place it was meant to be without her.”

Just four days ago, Evans had posted on both Instagram, and TikTok in her usual fashion. On her Instagram, the 29-year-old posted a photo of herself on the New York subway, holding a neon yellow bag, wearing a leather jacket and sunglasses.

On TikTok, she’d posted a commentary on JoJo Siwa‘s new look, saying she was “rooting for her to succeed.”

The aspiring filmmaker had over 300K followers and 13.6M likes on her TikTok pages and also created, directed, produced, and starred in the Amazon Prime Series, Club Rat.
